The Olympic Torch has its own meaning too. It symbolizes the spreading of peace message between the continents. The Olympic Torch goes up in flames for several months before the commencement of the main event. This flame is lit in front of the Temple of Hera at Olympic in Greece, depicting immortal relationship between ancient and modern Olympics.
